How can I work with my color scheme?
How can I work in fushcia, magenta, periwinkle blue, celadon green, espresso, eggplant, aubergine, or any other less than common colors?

The girls can carry hints of the color scheme among neutral tones, or greenery in their flowers. They can wear a scarf, sash, jewelry or something in their hair with your main color. Meanwhile, the gents can help tie it together with an ascot, pocket handkerchief, or lapel boutonniere. You shouldn't expect to find a tuxedo vest to match a trendy color.

The easiest way is with your table center piece. Work with neutral linens such as white on white, Ivory on Ivory , or Ivory table cloths with either white or tan napkins. Then make a bold statement with your center piece using candles, floral arrangements, or a combination of the two. The container for the centerpiece can also help pull the colors together. Look for colored containers for your candles and/or flowers that match the color scheme. However, be careful to not have the tray or vase make such a grand entrance that it over shadows its contents.

If you have favors placed on the guest tables they can include your special colors in their wrappings, bows, or ornament for the package. A menu card is another way to display your color scheme. Again remember to imagine the entire ensemble to be sure you haven't over done it.

Please, don't stress over the color of the girls dresses not matching the napkins or table cloths exactly. The girls will never be close enough to the guest tables for them to notice. (Unless the girls start dancing on the tables! But then, who will notice napkins if that happens?!!)
